The sky was a dark shade of grey. So dark that it was almost black. The clouds roared as the tornado grew closer. It had been so nice in the morning. Sunny, with birds singing. There were no longer any birds. Leaves flew everywhere, almost like rain. It was raining so hard that it just looked like lines of water coming down from the sky. It grew closer still, ripping and destroying everything in its sight. There was no trace of the sun. Like the people in the city, it was hidden. Nowhere to be seen. Closer. A bright light from lightning shined through the sky. Closer. There was a lone shed in the distance. Closer. The roof began to shake. Closer. Shingles were flying everywhere. Closer. The roof was now gone. Closer. Wood and pieces of furniture flew everywhere and got sucked into the tornado. The tornado continued on its way and got further. Further, until i
Just one text can save a lifeWhat a character holding a blue object is thinking right now.Just one text can save a life by koolandkrazy
I've been staring at the bottle in my hands for what seems like hours now. It's funny how something so small can be so deadly. I laughed. It wasn't an amused laugh - more like a nervous, terrified, annoyed and sick-of-everything laugh. Just one swallow and I won't ever have to feel pain like this again. Maybe then they'll finally be sorry. I open the bottle and shake tiny blue pills into my hand. I put the bottle down and - shaking- I wipe my forehead. Sweat. Beads of it were dropping down my forehead and the nape of my neck. I place the first one on my tongue and swallow. As I'm about to do the same with the second, I got a text. I was going to turn my phone off when I caught a glimpse of the text. It was from my best friend.
-Hey, Jackston, thanks so much for last night dude. Without you, I dunno where I'd be or what I'd do. You're the friend I'll always have. I love you bro.

Dear Daddy, I hate you.Dad,Dear Daddy, I hate you. by MikkiMarie
There's something I want you to know,
Because, hey dad..
I'm not stupid.
I know you're not going to be here
Something I wanted to say..
I hate you.
I hate how you've been there for me.
I hate how you made me who I am today.
I hate how you've always inspired me,
And I hate how you've been the best father anyone could ask for.
I hate how I know you enough to know exactly what you're going to say.
I hate how you know me the same way.
I hate how you love your family more than anything.
I hate how you've been strong just so we don't feel weak,
And I hate how you never gave up on us.
On your family.
On your daughters.
I hate knowing that it's going to be
I'm going to miss you, Dad.
... Daddy, I'm going to miss you.
And I hate you for that.
