I've been staring at the bottle in my hands for what seems like hours now. It's funny how something so small can be so deadly. I laughed. A houseplant is dying,tell it why it needs to liveAs I water my ficus, I sit down on the chest beside it. Normally, I'd just go on and carry about my day; but, this time i decide to talk to it. Looking out the window, I see no one, I just see dirt and what's left of buildings. I turn to the plant, "Please, you're our last hope. Me and Margie have already lost 3. She's pregnant again. We need the CO2. I can't go out there and get another plant, that'd be a suicide mission. So please, get better. I fear that if Margie loses this baby, I'll lose her.
